Overview
Context
Redesign of a personal training website for a high performance clientele including athletes, high profile individuals, and injury rehabilitation cases. The objective was to develop a digital experience that reflects the quality, precision, and credibility of the service.
The project focuses on a minimal as well as structured interface that prioritises clarity, services, and conversion.
Design Approach — Strategy
The redesign focused on aligning the digital experience with the quality and credibility of a high performance personal training service. A clear information hierarchy, simplified navigation, and a minimal visual system were introduced to improve usability and support conversion.
Consistency in layout, spacing, and typography was used to create a structured interface that prioritises services, clarity, and user flow.
Key Issues Identified
The existing website failed to communicate the quality and professionalism of the personal training service. Despite catering to high performance clients, the interface lacked structure, clarity, and visual hierarchy, resulting in a fragmented user experience.
Key issues included inconsistent colour usage, unclear navigation, broken or missing pages, and unreliable functional elements such as pricing and cart visibility. The overall design did not reflect the credibility required for a premium, trust-based service.
The digital experience was not aligned with the standard of service offered in person.
User Flow Structure & Interaction
Low-fidelity wireframes were used to test navigation flow, content hierarchy, and interaction points. Multiple layout variations explored how users move through the site, from initial entry to key actions such as reading, selecting, and contacting.
